On January 29, 2020, Human Resource Services and TIAA will be providing joint presentations to assist you with benefit and retirement planning. Each session will begin with a benefits discussion presented by HRS staff, and will be followed by a financial education portion presented by TIAA representatives.

Registration to attend is not required, and seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Pre-Retirement Seminar– 8:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Lighty 405 and by Zoom

This seminar is designed for WSURP participants planning on retiring within the next 5 years. 

  • 8:15-9:45: Tracy Vaughn will present on the WSU retirement process and various retirement benefits
  • 9:45-10:45: Presentation by TIAA representative regarding retirement income options

Employee Benefit Refresher: 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Lighty 405 and by Zoom at https://wsu.zoom.us/j/694377892

Designed for benefit eligible employees that wish to review or learn about the various benefits offered through WSU and identify if they need to make any updates.

  • 11:00-12:00: Tracy Vaughn will provide an overview of WSU benefits
  • 12:00-1:00: Presentation by TIAA representative regarding planning for retirement and increasing retirement savings
