Philosophy Statement

Coaching is a unique professional relationship, offering needed space for each client to explore issues with candor and emotional safety. As leaders advance in any organization, it becomes more difficult to discuss and address challenges they face on a daily basis. In addition, the habits, constructs and behaviors that served them well earlier in their careers are often no longer effective. A strong executive coaching relationship provides a “thought partner” to work through difficult issues. Through skilled listening, powerful questioning and application of 25 years of experience with common leadership issues, I actively engage clients to discover powerful new insights and create new mindsets. Building new frameworks for new actions creates a foundation that supports clients to change deeply rooted habits and behaviors to new leadership approaches that best serve their individual goals and the organizations success.

  • Twenty five years of experience coaching senior leaders, coaching team members and growing their teams with organizations such as: Cadence Design System, American Express, NIKE, C-Tran, Port of Vancouver, Pierce Transit, Pacific Natural Foods, U of O, including many non profit institutions.
  • Coach for internal coaches and facilitators; have trained and developed internal professionals for Peace Health, NIKE, Intel, Daimler/Freightliner and many others.
