Following is the Temporary Employment Classification and Compensation Plan effective January 1, 2015. This plan replaces the January 2014, plan. Changes to pay rates reflect the increase in the State of Washington minimum wage to $9.47 per hour.
For all temporary hourly employees whose pay rate is currently below $9.47, we will automatically increase the rate of pay in TEMPS and the payroll system. Please verify the correct pay rate and payroll expenditure when reviewing the online Department Payroll Processing Application (DEPTPAY). No other notice of the employees’ salary increases will be issued to departments
Additional departmental salary or appointment changes must be entered online through the Temporary Employment System (TEMPS) by the following deadline dates.
