FFCRA Time & Leave Reporting Instructions December 2020

For employees on FFCRA leave during the month of December 2020, in order to process payment of EPSL and EFML completed and appropriately signed/authorized paper Time and Leave Reports MUST be emailed to HRS Disability Services hrs.disabilityservices@wsu.edu upon approval of leave designation.

Overview

With the expiration of the FFCRA, the Emergency Paid Sick Leave and Emergency Family and Medical Leave Expansion Acts are no longer available effective January 1, 2021. See below for leave and work options for those that may be impacted COVID-19 events.

Shared Leave

On March 17, 2020 HB 2739, signed into state law, expands provisions of the state’s shared leave program to cover certain COVID-19 related absences. Proclamation 20-05 provisions are currently in place, until the termination of the COVID-19 State of Emergency or 11:59 p.m. on January 19, 2021, whichever occurs first.
