On September 17, 2018, Human Resource Services and TIAA will be providing joint presentations to assist you with benefit and retirement planning.  Each session will begin with a benefits discussion presented by HRS staff, and will be followed by a financial education portion presented by TIAA representatives.

Pre-Retirement Sessions:  Designed for WSURP participants planning on retiring in 5-10 years.  This session will be offered twice:

  • 12:30pm to 3:00pm – Lighty 405
  • 3:45pm to 5:45pm – Lighty 405

Benefit Overview: Designed for all benefit eligible employees that would like to review or learn about the various benefits and retirement savings options offered through WSU.  This session will be offered once:

  • 9:30am to 11:30am – French Administration Room 139

Registration to attend is not required, and seating will be on a first-come, first served basis.  All sessions are available via video-conference, and locations can be viewed on the AMS calendar.  To request a room at your location, contact AMS at ams.vc.meeting@wsu.edu and include the date and time of the session you would like to attend, and at what location.


Unable to make it to one of these sessions? That’s ok! These are offered each semester.


TIAA also provides in person financial counseling! To schedule an appointment, log into your TIAA account at www.tiaa.org/wsu and click on the “Education” tab.  You can also set up an appointment by calling 1-800-732-8353.


Are you within a year of retiring? WSU Retirement Specialists are available for meetings to begin the process of retiring from WSU.  To schedule an appointment, contact HRS at hrs@wsu.edu or (509)335-4521.
