Phased reopening process at WSU

Washington State University President Kirk Schulz announced, in a May 11 communication, plans for all WSU campuses, areas, and units to start the phased reopening process no later then July 12. Schulz acknowledged those employees who continued to deliver essential in-person services and thanked everyone for their commitment to WSU during challenging times.

Per the May 11 communication, this does not mean that all faculty and staff will need to return to on-site work locations full time on July 12. Decisions about who will work on-site or remote and when (traditional, hybrid, or flexible schedule) will be made by managers and supervisors, along with their leadership.
