Washington Long Term Care Tax Coming Soon

Starting January 2022, a .58% payroll tax will be collected from all Washington state employee earnings to fund the WA Cares Fund. A one-time exemption period will be held starting October 1 for those who have alternative Long Term Care Insurance in place by November 1, 2021.
