This year’s Workday Success Stories track offers deeper dives into certain processes and functions in Workday, highlighting the ways Workday connects systems, information, and people across WSU. Managers and supervisors can gain deeper understanding of the actions and responsibilities they perform in Workday through the following sessions:

  • Finance & HCM Touchpoints: How HCM, Finance, & Payroll connect to each other, and other systems across WSU
  • WSU Organizational structure: Explains the university structure and share how Supervisory Organizations and security in Workday impact process flow and routing
  • Workday Change & Communications, from yesterday to today: Improvements, collaborations, and beneficial changes from the last 12 months in the areas of Workday news and training materials
  • Employee Performance Reviews
  • Recruiting Improvements
  • Payroll Masterclass
  • Time & Absence Masterclass

In addition to the Workday Success Stories track, managers and supervisors are encouraged to explore the Leading as a Coug track, which offers sessions focused on soft skills development related to leadership, management, and team building.

Elevating Cougs will be held virtually October 22 and 23, 2024. Registration for Elevating Cougs launches July 15. More information about sessions and speakers will be made available soon.
