HRS Benefits is hosting a presentation on “Social Security 101 — Everything You Wanted to Know.” Kirk Larson with Social Security will be presenting on topics such as:
- When are you eligible to receive benefits
- How an early draw can affect your benefits
- Survivor, spouse and disability benefits
- What is the future of social security, and
- When should you file for Medicare
The presentation is on Thursday, October 10, from Noon – 1:30. This session is a repeat presentation of the joint presentation with Bellevue Community College from May 2024. WSU will be hosting this session with Bellevue Community College employees attending as well.
