Universal Human Rights Awareness Month: All Human, All Equal

December is Universal Human Rights Month, a time for people around the world to join together and stand up for the rights and dignity of all individuals.

We recognize this important topic in December to mark the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as proclaimed by the United Nations on December 10, 1948, which identifies a set of fundamental human rights to be universally protected.

As an employee, you also have rights in the workplace, and it is important to us that you understand what those rights are:

  • The right to be free from harassment and discrimination.
  • The right to opportunities for career development and career advancement without discrimination.
  • The right to accommodation.
