Effective Stress Management + Living Intentionally

Stress is a natural part of life, and in today’s fast-paced world, it can sometimes feel constant or overwhelming. Whether triggered by work, relationships, finances, or other pressures, unmanaged stress can take a significant toll on both our mental and physical well-being.

So why not start 2026 with practical tools to support your well-being?

This month, the Washington State Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is offering a live webinar to WSU employees, focusing on Effective Stress Management. In this webinar, we’ll explore the different ways stress affects our daily lives, including how our bodies and minds respond to it. You’ll gain insight into:

🛠️ The physiological and emotional impacts of stress

🛠️ How to recognize its early signs, and

🛠️ How chronic stress can influence long-term health.

Most importantly, focus on evidence-based strategies to help you manage stress in healthy and sustainable ways. From quick techniques to reset in the moment, to long-term habits that build resilience, you’ll leave this session with tools you can apply right away, at work and at home.

To complement the session, the January EAP resource collection offers several on‑demand webinars connected to the monthly theme of Living with Intention. These quick, accessible offerings dive into topics such as mindful decision‑making, prioritizing what matters most, and creating habits that align with your personal and professional goals.
