A 2% general wage increase for non-represented classified (civil service) employees took effect July 1, 2026, following funding provided by the Washington State Legislature. Human Resource Services works closely with the Budget Office, Payroll, and Modernization to implement approved salary increases for WSU employees.

Employees covered by this increase can learn more about eligibility, implementation details, and frequently asked questions on the General Salary Increase webpage. Represented classified employees should refer to their collective bargaining agreement for information about negotiated wage increases.
