Faculty and Administrative Professional Salary Increases Effective October 1, 2026

Salary increases for eligible Administrative Professional (AP) and Faculty employees will take effect on October 1, 2026. The 2026 increase allocation is 1% for eligible AP and Faculty employees.

What do employees need to know?

Who is eligible?

For faculty, eligibility includes annual review requirements, such as receiving satisfactory or higher ratings based on established review criteria. Additional eligibility requirements and exceptions may apply depending on appointment type and individual circumstances.

In general, employees must have been employed on or before December 31, 2025, meet applicable appointment and FTE requirements, and satisfy any eligibility criteria associated with their employment group.

What about recent hires, promotion, or position changes?

Employees who have experienced a recent hire, promotion, position change, leave, retirement transition, or other unique employment circumstance should review the available FAQs and eligibility guidance. When will the increases be processed?

The processing timeline for Faculty merit-based increases begins late August 2026 and goes through September 2026. The approved Faculty merit increases, along with the AP increases, are processed centrally in Workday early to mid-October with an effective date of October 1, 2026.

The increases will be paid in the October 26, 2026, paycheck.
