This fall, Human Resource Services is excited to welcome three student employees who will be working alongside teams across HRS.
These experiences offer students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, explore career interests, and contribute to meaningful projects while learning from professionals in the field.
Throughout the semester, we’ll introduce our student employees and share a little about their backgrounds, interests, and goals.
This month, HRS welcomes Lydiah Young.
Lydia is a transfer student at WSU majoring in Sociology with minors in Psychology and Spanish. With aspirations of becoming a clinical social worker, she is passionate about supporting individuals and communities through meaningful service and advocacy.
Outside of academics, Lydiah enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and exploring new baking recipes. During her semester with HRS, she is looking forward to gaining hands-on experience, learning from professionals across the department, and contributing to projects that support WSU employees.
We’re excited to have Lydiah as part of the HRS team this semester and look forward to supporting her learning and professional growth. Be sure to watch for future spotlights as we continue introducing the students contributing to projects across HRS.
