Maybe it was a new Excel tip from a coworker. Maybe you discovered a shortcut in Workday, listened to an interesting podcast, attended a conference session, or stumbled across an article that challenged the way you think about a familiar topic.
Learning often begins the same way: with curiosity.
Curiosity encourages us to ask questions, explore new ideas, and look at challenges from different perspectives. It helps us adapt to change, discover new solutions, and continue growing throughout our careers.
In recognition of National Online Learning Day, consider what has sparked your curiosity lately. Is there a skill you’ve been meaning to develop? A tool you’d like to understand better? A topic you’ve always wanted to explore?
The good news is that opportunities to learn are all around us. Sometimes learning happens through formal development opportunities, workshops, or conferences. Other times, it happens through a conversation with a colleague, a quick article, a podcast, a book, or a few minutes spent exploring a new idea.
The important thing isn’t where learning happens. It’s remaining open to it when the opportunity appears.
