Academic Student Employees Wage Increase Information

This page contains information regarding the wage increases for Academic Student Employees (ASEs), effective October 1, 2025.

Eligibility

  • All ASEs covered by the WSU/UAW 2024-2026 collective bargaining agreement. Review the bargaining agreement, Article 35.4 Yearly Wage Increases, for more information
  • ASEs on grants and contracts will receive the increase

Questions regarding employee eligibility may be directed to the Graduate School at gradschool@wsu.edu.

Processing

The increase will be processed centrally.

Employee compensation will reflect the increase in Workday no later than October 10, 2025, and the increase will be included in the October 25, 2025, paycheck.

Employees may view their Compensation and Pay Change History in Workday on either their employee Profile page or in the Benefits, Pay, and Compensation app.

If the need for corrections is discovered after the general wage increase is processed, departments should contact HRS Records at hrs.records@wsu.edu for assistance.

Funding

Budget and funding questions may be directed to the Budget Office at wsubudget.office@wsu.edu.
