Haley Klemmetson receives 2023 Crimson Spirit Recognition
We are happy to announce Haley Klemmetson, Executive Assistant to the Provost and Washington State University Chancellor, as a Crimson Spirit Award recipient.
Haley joined WSU in January of 2022 and has made a significant impact in her first two years, according to her nominator. Haley was initially hired as the executive assistant for Provost Elisabeth Chilton and soon after her arrival, Dr. Chilton assumed her WSU Pullman Chancellor position. This change meant Haley would need to make significant adjustments to her responsibilities. “Haley has taken great pride in understanding the WSU System and the WSU Pullman campus. [She fully supports] Dr. Chilton in a superb manner and [has] become a trusted resource for colleagues.”
Haley’s nominator also says that Haley anticipates needs on a daily basis. A recent example being helping to hire an incoming Vice Chancellor for the WSU Pullman campus. “She anticipated the needs of each of the finalists and shepherded a near-flawless on-campus experience for each individual.” Haley left an impressionable visit and the finalists left with praises about her warmth, expertise, and attention to detail.
