We would like to say a huge congratulations to Lisa Devine with Enterprise Systems Group on being awarded the Crimson Spirit Award for this quarter!

Lisa had several wonderful nominations and it is plain to see what an asset she is to WSU! One of her nominees remarks that, “Lisa has always been absolutely wonderful to work with. She carefully listens to all parties involved, and uses her vast institutional knowledge to offer advice, options, and pathways to get to what is needed. Her knowledge of the WSU Catalog and her close collaborations with … the Registrar’s office help to find solutions that work for everyone: the students, advisors, departments and the WSU Registrar’s office.”

Lisa’s work has far reaching effects for those across WSU. For those that Lisa works with and assists, “She makes the most intricate conversations and coding seem approachable. Once decisions are reached, the speed in which she completes her work is remarkable. She always follows up, and we may hear from her a week later with some additional thoughts on how make yet one more improvement.” Another nominator writes that, “A bunch of us advisors were sitting around one day enjoying some good food and sharing best practices. In that conversation, the one common theme that came up was, who do we call when we need help with a student’s degree audit report. We all shouted Lisa Devine’s name.”

In addition to her nominators commending Lisa for the work that she does, they also made a point to mention commending her for being a kind and helpful person. One nominator writes, “Lisa is just a good human. She cares about people, she cares about the quality of her work, and she works incredibly hard at what she does for things that benefit so many.”

It is easy to see why Lisa is so deserving of this award, and as her nominator told us, “Lisa is an excellent colleague and truly deserving of this recognition!”
