Open Enrollment Email – Act Now for the 2025 Plan Year

The following information was sent as an email to all Public Employees Benefit Board (PEBB) benefit-eligible employees.

Open Enrollment for the 2026 plan year will be October 27 – November 24, 2025

Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to review and make changes to your benefits for the upcoming year. Please take note of the following important details:

• Open Enrollment Period:
  • October 27 – November 24.  Submit your benefit elections in Workday no later than midnight on November 24. The Open Enrollment event will be posted in Workday on October 27.
• Premium and Plan Changes for 2026:
  • Be aware of potential premium changes.
  • Participants in the UMP Plus plan must choose a new plan, as UMP Plus will no longer be offered starting in 2026.
• Resources Available Now:
  • The HRS Open Enrollment website is now live.

    • Benefit Fairs schedule
    • Archived communications
  • The Health Care Authority (HCA) Open Enrollment website is also available and HCA will be distributing information via email or mail starting later this month or early October.
• Upcoming Informational Sessions:
  • Informational presentations will be offered to help you evaluate:
    • Medical, dental, and vision plans
    • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
    • General WSU benefit and retirement reviews
