Human Resource Services is thrilled to announce Jenny Saligumba-Graham with the WSU Graduate School as our next Crimson Spirit Award winner!

In her role as the Director of Graduate Student Services, Jenny is dedicated to providing excellent customer service for those that she assists. Her nominator say that “Though busy with the important duties inherent in serving as a director, Jenny always finds time to meet with any student needing assistance. She helps students navigate the complex and sometimes overwhelming issues they face while encouraging them to keep moving forward toward their educational goals.” Jenny is dedicated to helping those students that need assistance and faculty and staff across campus know that Jenny will always do her best to help graduate students in any way that she can.

In addition to helping her students, Jenny goes above and beyond for the staff that she works with as well. Her nominator says that, “Jenny’s door is continuously open to her staff regardless of her full schedule or time of day, and she is always happy to talk through any problem, be it titanic or trivial. She encourages and values input from all members of the team and instills a level of belonging and camaraderie I have never encountered in my career.” Jenny’s willingness and desire to assist those around her are unparalleled. She goes out of her way to interact with the members of her staff and truly looks out for them when they are in need. Regardless of her position as director, when her staff is “in a pinch, Jenny can be found evaluating admission applications, processing final exam results, checking in transcripts, steaming hoods for commencement, or even just answering questions at our front desk.”

We are so excited to Jenny to join our list of Crimson Spirit Award winners. As her nominator wrote, Jenny “embodies the commitment to customer service and genuine caring about others that are hallmarks of being a Coug.”
