Matthias McFarlane, Computer Science tutor, made these comments, “I want to congratulate Becky Dueben, she has done an amazing job with the tutoring center. Thanks to her, every single one of the tutors that work for Voiland College of Engineering is nationally certified in tutoring.
We came back from spring break, and hit the ground running. We did not miss a single tutorial; we made sure that the students knew that we were here to support them. And they knew that we were here to make sure that their success was our success.”
Becky’s nominator also wants to add, “She quickly pivoted to online tutoring last spring, not missing a beat, and helping as many students as she would have under non COVID-19 circumstances. Becky is the epitome of Crimson Spirit.
