VETERINARY TEACHING HOSPITAL, COLLEGE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE

I have spent my entire 25 Year WSU career at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. I started as a Patient Services Representative for the Small Animal Service working at the front desk from 1995 to 2004. In 2004 I moved to the Equine Department as the Patient Services Coordinator for all of the Equine Services. I was there until 2018. At that time, I transferred to the Diagnostic Imaging Department, which is where I am currently as their Patient Services Coordinator. Working with the students (our future veterinarians) has really been one of the best parts of the job. I have also really enjoyed getting to know and working with all of the Clients, Clinicians, House Officers, and Referring Veterinarians.

In addition to working full-time at WSU, I help my husband on our approximately 5,000 acre family farm in my “off-time.” In what little spare time we have, we Trapshoot, go to Rodeo’s (our favorites are the NFR and Pendleton), and travel. We also love sports and have been Cougar Football Season Ticket holders since I started my employment at WSU. We also enjoy attending Cougar Basketball games.
