Jane Estocin-Klaiber, Finance/Budget Manager for the Center for Civic Engagement and Student Involvement has received Crimson Spirit Recognition for providing superior quality service and providing outstanding Contributions to the WSU community.

 Jane has worked for various departments with WSU and has invaluable knowledge of WSU policies, processes, history, and strategic goals. Jane provides a great deal of support to her department and her nominator has said “With our massive student programming, our department is constantly dealing with new situations, and she constantly helps us problem-solve and find ways to improve and streamline our work.” Jane has been a source of support and aid for her team when the university made the switch to Workday and her nominator said “there is no problem that she can’t solve for us.”

Her knowledge and willingness to help has been instrumental when it comes to helping her coworkers and department during the pandemic. Her nominator told us that “she frequently checked in on us to see how we were doing and offered amazing support to our team. She is “The Champion” for our fiscal team and is always so supportive of us.” Jane is also very involved in the larger Pullman community, often helping with local voter registration and local elections. “She is always willing to help anyone and goes the extra mile for everyone. Her appreciation for our students, staff, and WSU community cannot be missed and does not go unnoticed.”

Jane is recognized for expressing genuine interest, anticipating needs and taking appropriate action, and her creative problem-solving skills.
