Effective July 1, 2025, the Office of Financial Management (OFM) increased the salary ranges for 176 active Classified titles. OFM raised the starting wage range and raised targeted ranges to meet market conditions. The changes are:

  • Step A of the salary range 34 will be increased to $18.00 per hour. Employees will be assigned to a step in their new range closest to their new salary as of July 1, 2025 (salary match).
  • Job Classifications currently assigned to ranges 30 – 33 will be assigned to a range 34 and above.

176 active titles are impacted and 136 of those titles have at least one incumbent. Positions classified within impacted titles are being evaluated by HRS to determine the specific impacts to each incumbent employee. Changes will be centrally managed and applied in Workday as part of the July blackout period work; no departmental action will be required.

For hires initiated prior to July 1, for a July 1 or later start date, HR Partners and Compensation Partners will need to review the salary ranges in Workday and submit a Jira ticket if the employee profile appears to be incorrect. Workday questions and tickets can be submitted via the Workday Service Desk.
