This session is a repeat of the popular presentation offered in May 2024, making it a valuable opportunity to catch up on crucial information.

Participants will also learn how to use the mySocialSecurity online account, in addition to other online services. To get the most of the session, participants are encouraged to create an account with mySocialSecurity prior to the workshop.

More about our speaker: Kirk Larson is the Washington State Public Affairs Representative for the Social Security Administration.  He has worked with the agency for over 30 years in both technical and supervisory roles.  Kirk has presented Social Security information in both the Seattle and San Francisco Regions.  He has had several articles published, and appeared on TV and radio shows to discuss Social Security topics.

Classified staff received a 3% salary increase starting July 1, and AP and Faculty will see a 2% boost in October. With this extra income, you have several options to consider:
