LOD Highlights: Fresh Updates, New Assignments, and Better Tools
Your Learning and Development team has been working behind the scenes to streamline processes, reduce friction, and deliver updates that support learners in a more meaningful way.
Here is a look at what’s noteworthy this month:
Percipio Functionality Improvements
We’re making several updates to improve the Percipio experience in 2026, including turning off post–due date reminder emails, simplifying assignment schedules, and archiving past uncompleted assignments to reduce unnecessary notifications. These changes are designed to make required training easier to navigate and less frustrating. We’re also continuing to work with Percipio to resolve the technical issue that prevents some course completions from registering properly.
Over the past year, assignment reminder emails were programmed using the following schedule:
- every three months after an assignment was issued
- every three days in the final weeks before the due date
- daily after the due date
While this schedule was intended to support timely completion and university compliance needs, we recognize that the daily post–due date reminders created frustration for many users. After reviewing the impact, the after‑due‑date reminders have been removed, so employees will no longer receive daily emails for uncompleted 2025 assignments.
Looking ahead to 2026, we’re taking several steps to make the learning experience smoother, including simplifying assignment schedules. We’ve moved from two due dates per year to a single annual due date (December 31), so each required course will only appear once. We’ve also begun archiving uncompleted assignments from prior years, which prevents outdated assignments from generating additional reminders. These updates will help minimize confusion and reduce unnecessary notifications.
If you still have items you wish to complete from the 2025 assignment set, the related content is linked below and will remain available in Percipio through February 1, 2026. To prevent learners from accidentally completing the 2025 versions when working toward their 2026 compliance assignments, this content will be retired and no longer available as of February 2, 2026:

- Phishing Awareness: Understanding & Preventing Phishing Attacks Quiz

Smoother Support Ahead: Percipio FAQ Enhancements
As we roll out these system updates, we’re also refreshing our instructions and FAQs to help employees more easily locate information and complete their required courses. At the same time, we continue partnering with Percipio to resolve the technical issue that sometimes prevents completions from being recorded. We’ll keep you updated as this work progresses.
Thank you for your patience as we work to make your learning experience smoother and more reliable. We appreciate you!
