Change in vision benefits for PEBB-Eligible employees for 2025

PEBB-Eligible employees will see a change in their vision benefit for 2025, with those benefits being moved to a standalone benefits and no longer be embedded in our medical plans.  The employer will cover the premium, so there will be no associated employee premium.  Watch for more information in the HCA May 2024 For Your Benefit newsletter, and from HCA and WSU Benefits starting this Fall.  You will make your vision plan election during Open Enrollment via Workday.   

Retirement resources through WSU

Are you aware of the retirement resources provided through WSU?  One of the most popular is being able to meet with a TIAA representative in person, or via Zoom or phone. Call 1-800-732-8353 or schedule online. Another one is the bi-monthly pre-retirement seminars that provide WSU processes and other valuable information.  Visit the retirement informaiton page on the Benefits website for the latest schedule. for the latest schedule.

Resources available through Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

EAP offers an abundance of free and reduced-fee Work-Life resources. Most employees are aware that EAP provides up to three free confidential counseling session to help with personal and work-related issues and your quality of life.  But did you know they also provide an abundance of Work-Life Resources to help with legal, financial, family, aging, mental health, relationships, professional development, and more!  The resources range from webinars, recorded sessions, calculators, and legal forms, in addition to a large library of articles.  And again, you have access to these free resources!  Visit the EAP website, and the Work-Life Portal

If you didn’t have the opportunity to participate in the April 17th sessions presented by Washington State Employee Assistance Program Director, Jennifer Nguyen, the replays are available in Percipio. Each session was available on-site at the Pullman Campus, with simultaneous streaming via Zoom for system-wide attendance.
