In today’s competitive job market, the traditional methods of recruitment have evolved significantly. At Washington State University (WSU), the challenge of attracting qualified applicants has become increasingly complex. The days of posting a job vacancy and receiving numerous qualified applications with minimal effort are long gone.

WSU recognizes this shift and offers a range of free recruitment outreach tools, which can be found on the HRS Recruitment Outreach Tools webpage. However, when the need arises to expand reach through paid advertising, WSU has streamlined the process through its partnership with JobElephant.

JobElephant simplifies the placement of job advertisements across various platforms including major trade journals, free and premium job boards, as well as local newspapers. This partnership not only saves valuable time but also provides tailored advertising language assistance and placement recommendations at no additional cost. By utilizing JobElephant for both paid and free job ads, WSU’s HRS department gains valuable candidate outreach data, facilitating informed decisions for future advertising strategies.

To further streamline the process, HRS has recently introduced a JobElephant Request Form on the Recruitment Outreach Tools webpage. This form allows users to request a quote or place an ad seamlessly. The online form populates all necessary fields for JobElephant to assist with advertising efforts. Within 48 hours of submitting a quote request, a detailed quote is provided, outlining the advertising plan. Once approved, JobElephant initiates the placement process and sends a consolidated bill for any paid advertisements. This streamlined approach not only enhances efficiency but also empowers WSU to attract top talent effectively in today’s competitive hiring landscape.
