News From the LOD Workshop
As our learning environment evolves, so do the tools and training we offer. Here are two updates we’re excited to share that will help you navigate both content and reporting with greater ease.
Launching April 1, 2026: WSU Cybersecurity Incident Response Training
In addition to updated content, this fully refreshed course replaces the current Incident Response Training and now gives learners the flexibility to read, listen, or combine both options as they move through the material (features not available in the current version). Learners who have already started, but not completed, the 2026 Incident Response assignment will receive a notification with steps to take so they don’t lose their progress during the transition. Those who have not yet begun the assignment will not be affected.
Coming Soon! Improved Reporting Tools for Learning Administrators
Skillsoft is introducing two updates to Percipio’s analytic reporting tools, that will make reporting clearer and easier to navigate. These enhancements include refreshed column names and a streamlined design that consolidates filtering into a single dropdown.
Learner Activity Report: New Interface
When you access the Learner Activity report, you’ll soon notice a refreshed interface designed to make filtering and organizing data more intuitive. All filters will be combined into one dropdown, and you’ll be able to sort and filter directly by column, as well as select which columns you want to display.
The data itself remains the same, and the report will continue to show the most recent year of learner activity. For data older than one year, Skillsoft recommends using the Detailed Activity report.
Column Name Change Across Multiple Reports
Skillsoft will also be updating a column name that appears in several activity reports. The column currently labeled Child content will be renamed Consumed in Course in the Learner Activity and Detailed Activity reports.
This change is intended to make it easier to interpret how learners launched content, either from within the course or independently in the standalone player, while avoiding disruptions to existing reporting integrations.
Skillsoft has not yet announced a specific launch date, but it’s anticipated that these new tools will be available by June 2026.
