New Year, New Training Schedule: Streamlined Compliance Assignments for 2026
Learning & Organizational Development (LOD) is excited to announce a streamlined approach to required training assignments starting in 2026. These changes are designed to make compliance training easier to manage and improve the overall experience in Percipio.
What’s Changing and Why?
Beginning January 2, 2026, all system-wide mandatory courses will be assigned at the start of the year, with a due date of December 31. This new annual schedule replaces the previous practice of splitting assignments every six months, giving employees a full year to plan and complete their training.
The updated schedule provides:
🎯 More flexibility for employees to complete training around their individual schedules.
🎯 Simplified planning for managers and teams.
🎯 Consistency across the university for compliance requirements.
Improved Percipio Experience
LOD is also making enhancements to Percipio to reduce confusion and improve usability with updates to the audience structure, refining how courses are assigned to new employees, and archiving old assignments starting February 2026. Uncompleted, mandatory courses from the previous year will be archived, removing outdated assignments from your Assignment page, ensuring only the latest version is available.
For 2026, the archive date will be February 2, 2026. Beginning in 2027, archiving will occur on the first Monday in January.
What to Expect in January
Between January 2 and the archive date, employees who did not complete the previous year’s training may see duplicate assignments (e.g., Cyber Security Training 2025 and Cyber Security Training 2026). When completing your training, choose the 2026 version.
To avoid confusion and meet compliance requirements, please complete all 2025 assignments by December 31, 2025.
