Stay Home, Stay Healthy Order – WSU HRS Response
Washington State University (WSU) will comply with Governor Inslee’s statewide order to “Stay Home, Stay Healthy.” WSU operations will continue; however, only essential personnel are to report to their physical WSU work location.
WSU employees NOT required to report to their WSU work location, and NOT currently assigned to telework, should contact their manager regarding telework and/or leave options. Employees who need to go to their work location to retrieve equipment/supplies to telework may do so with prior approval from their manager.
The appointing authority for your campus, college or area determines which personnel are essential and must report to their WSU work location.
The Governor’s order is for a minimum of two weeks, through April 6, 2020.
The Governor’s order does not change our students’ current online learning environment. More information will be provided by the Office of the Provost and Student Affairs.
Information on teleworking and leave options for employees is available on the HRS COVID-19 website.
COVID-19 WSU is closely monitoring and responding to the evolving COVID-19 outbreak following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Washington Department of Health (DOH).
