All staff offer and renewal letters are typically processed directly through Workday. For situations requiring a letter outside of Workday contact your HRS Service Team for up-to-date templates.

Faculty

For faculty appointments/action letters at WSU Spokane, WSU Tri-Cities, WSU Vancouver, and WSU Everett must include signatures from both the department Chair and the college appointing authority. Permanent and Tenure-track faculty offer letters also require the signature of the relevant dean and provost. The appointing unit shall communicate and collaborate with the department chair and provide a copy of the CV to the department chair. Copies of appointment/action letters are to be sent to the official personnel file located at the Pullman HRS office.
